About Deborah

A passion for fashion laid the foundation for a career in interior design graduating from Virginia Commonwealth University and working for Laura Ashley and Ethan Allen before opening a design studio, Chatelaine Interiors which catered to sophisticated buyers seeking classic style and beautiful objects. As a professional designer, Deborah brings an element of cohesiveness and harmony acting as a guide to implement the client’s vision with upscale furnishings, unique lighting, designer wall coverings, rugs, accessories and beautiful fabrics. Attending High Point Furniture Market annually allows for personalized product research and access to furnishings and accessories not sourced locally. She has participated in several designer houses and published in Virginia Living Magazine, Richmond Magazine, Style Magazine and the Richmond Times Dispatch.
